Welcome to Summarize It! These Terms of Service govern your use of our mobile application. By using Summarize It, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Use of the App
- License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our app, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
- Spam: You may not use the app to spam summarize text or audio. if you do, we will terminate your access to the app.
- Limit: You may not use the app to summarize text or audio that exceeds the limit.
- YouTube video: 6 hours
- YouTube video without transcript: 4 hours
- Text: 200,000 characters
- Audio: Optimize by removing all airtime, limit 6 hours
*Note: The limit may change in the future.
2. User Content
- Ownership: You retain ownership of any text, audio, or other content you create using the app.
- Responsibility: You are responsible for the content you create and ensure it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
3. Privacy
- Data Collection: We collect device ID and token for security purposes. We do not store your text, audio, or summarization history on our servers.
- Local Storage: All your data is stored on your device.
4. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- No Warranty: The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Summarize It, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the app; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
